I took the center seats out for a much more luxurious vanning experience.

I now have about 5 feet of legroom.

I do this sometimes in the cruiser, I fold down the middle row and the kids sit in the “way back” which they love.

This might be the only car known to man that can fit comfortably the average FP commenter on an article about a sports car.

I love vans sometimes. I just bought an 86" farmhouse table for our kitchen, plus bench and chairs, and got it all home with the gate closed. Then I sold our old kitchen table and 6 chairs and delivered it to the buyer, also gate closed. Last week I got 12 bales of pine straw behind the second row. I could probably do 26-30 bales with the second row removed. Nuts.

On a serious note, If I were the rich type who was driven everywhere, there is no way I would have an S-class or equiv. It would be a sprinter or similar with limo tint and set up for 4 people max.

I mean, that’s basically what the Royal Lounge versions of the Alphard/Vellfire do...

Okay, now open both doors, put plywood ramps on the side, and drive the Little Tikes car in sideways. Or jump it through, like a daredevil through a train car.

I believe that is a trend in SE Asia.

forcing the kids to sit even further away from the adults, that DOES sound like luxury!

They’d still bitch about the head room.

This is actually more comfortable than having the middle seats removed, because you have a footrest. I used to do that in our Montana all the time... cool fact about the Montana (and there aren’t many), the hard plastic backs in the middle row had cupholders moulded into them. Just undo a latch... bam, table.

Oh man, a 1G with the middle seats removed. That brings back so many memories.

I keep seeing a MINT (1st gen?)Sienna in my school’s student union parking garage. Like the paint isn’t even swirled. The other ones I see are barely making it down the road.

I was disappointed to learn, recently, that a Maybach was just a puffed-up Mercedes.

Mine is sort of in the middle. Absolutely no rust but quite a few dents and scratches. But mechanicaly it is 100% with only 100,000 miles.

At the moment we are only a family of 3 so its real nice to be able to play around with the configurations. For a while I had just the middle seat and no rear seats for maximum cargo but I’m liking this setup even more. And if I do need to bring something big I’ll just throw it in the middle.

You could do this in an old suburban also.

Bonus points the middle seats in a burban fold so you don’t have to leave them at home.

Ah, like a handicapped van.

It’s all fun until you have to shout your drive-thru order to the people up front. :(

My back seat occupant is only one and a half so I get my fair share of shouting as it is.
